Been a while....

Well, training is finally done. I am officially certified to take calls on my current contract. I cannot tell you how beneficial that training was too. Almost everything makes sense now! When my agents talk to me about work, I'm not lost. lol, that's so valuable to me. I am really excited to put this new knowledge to work too. I got a nice hefty quality evaluation goal this week, so obviously my bosses assumed I'd be ready to take advantage of my training. YAY! *grump*

The last few weeks have been fairly uneventful because of the training. We have this awesome saying at work "Death by PowerPoint". We aren't kidding....

After watching 2-6 hours of PowerPoint presentations each day for three weeks, I was exhausted by the time I got off work. Void of energy and effort, I came home and crashed each day. Weekends were spent cleaning and on friends I didn't get to see during the week.

Midas and I spent weekend before last together. He helped me go through boxes I'd been planning on cleaning out for months. We saw Wolverine together, which was fun, and did a little shopping. I finally got a second lamp in my living room. WOW! What a difference.

Mr. Niceguy came over this last weekend, and we had a blast. Really looking forward to the beach trip at the end of June. Will be really nice to just relax for a few days.

My boy kitty Malcolm, has finally decided that my friends are not as scary as he thought. He's been introducing himself to everyone lately. He's still twitchy, but doesn't seem to mind jumping into laps, and getting lots of love.

Mr. Niceguy was a little disappointed that Malcolm had come out for everyone but him.... Until this last weekend. While Malcolm is still a little unsure, he had no trouble letting Mr. Niceguy just pamper the snot out of him.

Mr. Niceguy had no issues jumping on the wagon, and calling Malcolm "Fat-Boy", like everyone else. It was fun. =)

Anyways. Put some money away in savings to start saving for my trip to Colorado this winter. I also intend to put more away to start fixing my car. She needs it. Bad..... I don't think she's going to last much longer.

Got wind of some good news coming at work this week. We'll see. Trying not to get my hopes up, but in this economy, and the way things have been going, it's really hard not to. The state of things at work has me really concerned. Not to mention my boss is a *several choice descriptive terms*.

*insert inappropriate statement here*

So yea. Life is just rolling right along, and I'm trying not to let go of the handle-bars. At least stuff in the personal life appears to be relatively comfortable for the moment. Having fun with friends, and getting stuff taken care of here at home. With any luck, I'll even figure out what I'm going to do with the Christmas tree, that still sits in the broken box, in my living room.... lol

Love to all!
