Alrighty, so I'll give you the skinny on my back first.
Letter from the Dr....

Dear Jessica,
Your imaging study of the LUMBAR SPINE 3 VIEW was abnormal.
May be an anomaly of the left L4-L5 facet joint. The facet joint space may be rotated somewhat as compared to other facet joints.
Sincerely,
Doctor I waited a week to mail this letter.

So, um, yea.... Well, what's next? I'm probably going to change Doctors for one. I have some phone calls to make. Naturally his description is so vague, I can't find hardly anything online about this. What I was able to find is that the facet joints of the lower back are supposed to rotate, but only up to about 2 degrees. I really dislike that my Doctor gives me so little information that I have to look stuff up online just to keep from running into his office. Unfortunately, looking stuff up online has it's own effects. LOL, gotta love this catch 22.
Tip for Doc: Don't give a hypochondriac just enough detail to send them into a whirlwind panic attack! Tell them to call, so you can answer their questions. (*Several Choice Words*) Butthead....
*sigh* I feel better now.
Overall the pain is almost gone, which is nice. Over the last week, I've had a few days where there was no pain, and a few where I hurt so bad walking was a challenge. However, I'm still breathing, walking, talking, and in general, functioning. This keeps me happy. =)
My guess is with the amount of sitting on my butt and crocheting until my hands and arms hurt, I should be good as new in a few weeks at most. At least it's my hope.....
Anyways, moving on.
So recently I received word from an old co-worker that left my previous employer some years back, that some positions were opening up at a company that the majority of you are familiar with, but I want to keep quiet for the moment. I sent in my resume, and have been waiting for about a week now with the intention of calling them today to confirm they actually got my resume and that the position wasn't filled yet. Last night, I checked my e-mail, and to my surprise I got a response to my submission!
I have a phone interview on Monday!!!! OH EM GEE!!!
Seriously folks, this is the first REALLY interested company I've talked to in nearly 7 months of unemployment. I need a job!
So I panicked a little while typing up my response confirming the date and time of the call, but with the help of Niceguy and his roommates as my proofreaders, I was able to type something up that we all felt was sufficient. Teehee! I'm anxious, giddy, nervous, and mildly terrified! We'll see how it goes.
So cross your fingers and toes! Maybe there will be a Christmas miracle in my apartment after all! ;-)
Much love to all!
