The last trip, a few days ago, was fairly uneventful, except for the hour or so that Niceguy thought he'd lost his cell-phone on the beach, and attempted to cut the trip short. The highlight, aside from the wonderful fire on the beach Saturday night, was him finding his phone in his bag.... lol

After searching the bag several times, he finally finds it, when we are already on our way back to town(only about 10 miles or so) to hit up a Verizon store for a new phone. We immediately turned the car around, grabbed coffee/tea, hit a bookstore, and plopped down on the beach for 5 hours to read. Niceguy passed out after a couple of hours, and I read in quiet. It was so very very nice. =) This was the best picture I could get before he woke up. lol
This trip proves to be more eventful. Friday, a trip to OMSI to see the CSI exhibit before heading out to the beach. Saturday is Midas' birthday, and we have a calm relaxed day planned. Beach, dinner, sunset, and then ex-roomie and her boy are joining us for a bonfire. Sunday, a little shopping at the local stores, and tourist shops, then a little surprise I have planned for Midas.
Midas was able to get a four-day weekend, and seeing as he hasn't had a good birthday in years, I grabbed us another night stay in another city. He's been wonderful these last few months, so I figure it's the least I can do. Spoil him to dinner, and a trip to the aquarium. Then we're back on Monday.
