Oh wow..... Pt. 2

Yea..... So where to begin. A lot has happened, some stuff I can't even mention, which is disappointing. I'd rather the drama and B.S. end, than continue to deal with it. So those that know already about the situation will understand what follows.

I am not posting pictures from the move. Yet.... Still deciding if I want to give a "certain individual" a reason to initiate another overly-dramatic threatening phone call. Oh yay.... Such a thrilling thought....

So everything below this point, is just rambling. Feel free to read on, or accept this summation:

Random rambling:

Anyways, the move is done. Cleaning was a nightmare to say the least. My vacuum is toast. Left it in the dumpster at my old place. Can't go into too much detail(*note above*).

Still trying to unpack. It's less fun than packing, I hate to admit. Hanging pictures, and decorating a new place is always nice. It's the multitude of boxes, and garbage bags full of stuff lying around that's driving me insane.

The new kitchen is considerably smaller than mine was. Actually the whole apartment is. Niceguy has even mentioned how my place would have been a better option, had it not been so far from where he works. Maybe we'll end up back there, me for my third go round, lol. Who knows at this point.

I'm kind of hoping to get into a rental home sometime next year. Would be awesome, but we're still talking about possibly moving to Hawaii in a couple years, and don't want to get trapped in a lease if we decide to go. So we'll see. If he starts working where I work, then we'll carpool, and probably get a place closer. We might even be able to walk. There are a lot of really nice apartments near work, that aren't hugely more expensive than our current place.

So, got sidetracked. The old apartment was mostly clean when I locked it for the last time. I had to let it go, because of the vacuum, and I ran out of cleaning supplies, because I was out of money. So turned the keys in on Sunday, and I am finally rid of it. Bad memories be gone! Yay! I said goodbye to my deposit too, as I know there's no way I'll see any of it again. *shrug* Oh well.

Niceguy made the move so easy. I don't think I could have done it all without a mental break if it weren't for him. He helped me 100%, even though it wasn't his mess to clean. Knowing I was broke, he bought food for us and a friend that offered to help, and made sure every night, that I relaxed for a bit. Super supportive, and extremely motivating. He's just awesome!

Going to be hitting up Walmart this weekend to pick up plastic storage bins. I need to get this place organized before I lose my mind. We can't do anything but open the door to the second bedroom, as it filled up so fast, it's 5 feet deep within inches of stepping in. So this entire apartment is about to go into an overhaul. We might lose a cat in the abyss if we don't. lol

Work is good. Busy busy busy. Trying not to screw up. lol

As usual, I need more sleep. Exhaustion has caught up with me again, and I'm constantly tired, but unable to get much sleep. It's self-imposed, so I can't really complain. I'm working on it though. When I get a chance to sleep for more than 4 hours, I typically wake up anyway, and can't get back to sleep. So that's going to have to change soon. I miss sleeping in on the weekends. lol

Bestie is back with her man, and things are going great. I do hope they continue that way for her sake. I don't want to see her go through it all again. She just moved a few weeks ago, in with her brother, and all sorts of hell broke loose over there. She's moving next weekend again. Hopefully her new roommates will treat her better and not take advantage of her.

Niceguy is awesome as always, and noted above. We've been cooking almost every night, and he's a great cook. It's so nice to come home, and just relax with great company, and excellent conversation. *dreamy sigh* lol, yep, I'm a dork.

Spoke with the ex-husband recently, who is continuing to bring my stuff back to me. I got my Christmas afghan back! YAY! Anyways, he and the fiancee broke up. I have no idea why, none of my business. Two weeks later they're back together. *shrug* I tossed him my two cents, and let it go. I hope whatever decision he makes, he's happy. I just don't want to see him get hurt.

Niceguy's ex-roomie landed safely in Hawaii, and appears may already have job prospects! We're both thrilled for him. =) He's been posting about diving trips and such, so we know he's really enjoying himself.

Um, so that's all the updates on peoples. Niceguy and I are planning another short weekend away. Haven't decided where yet. We keep getting bombarded with suggestions in the mountains, instead of on the beach. We're considering it. His folks want to take us camping sometime this summer. That'll be awesome. We're both really looking forward to it.

4th of July is coming, and we're considering a day-trip to the beach. Haven't decided which beach yet, as they're all beautiful, and within driving distance. It's been nearly two months now, and we normally go monthly. We're both starting to twitch.

So overall, life is awesome! A little drama that I quickly got over. I hate having to watch what I say, but it's a small price to pay though to avoid any additional B.S..
