The picture is tasty on it's own. My 13x9 couldn't even contain it! It was easily 3.5 - 4 inches thick. WOW! That's namely why it looks so messy.
The boys dug in so fast, I couldn't get a picture prior. Our vegetarian friend had two 4x5 pieces, and took a third home with him. Niceguy inhaled two pieces himself, and I barely made it through one. It did not last. We had company the next evening, and reheated it. A huge hit!
The cookie sheet below it, was to prevent another fire after one started in the oven when it swelled over the edges of my 13x9. It took me over two hours to prep this sucker, so I will not be making it often. It was still fun and a really tasty and healthy treat!
I need a bigger baking dish.....
