OMG! OMG! OMG!

Ok so yea, as you can probably tell from the title, I'm a little excited. I'm also immensely more relaxed, and the stress feels like it's been stripped away with a 3 hour massage.

Seriously, I haven't slept this good in months.

And I bet you're all wondering, what ever could have happened?

I got a bonus! I wasn't expecting it, and if I did get one, I surely wasn't expecting as much as I got.

Niceguy and I had already decided that with our latest paychecks we were going to pay the electric bill before they shut us off next week, credit cards and loans. We were going to pay rent late.

This makes me twitch, but I can handle it.

Yesterday I was handed two pay-stubs at work. Imagine my surprise when I open one, and it's $100 less than I expected after two weeks of nightmarish work. Oh boy, was I upset. I figured, okay, they messed up, it's probably in the second stub. No biggie. I opened that second stub, and it totaled what my 80 hours should have been. Okay, wait. Ummmm.

Looking more closely, BAM! BONUS!

Texted Niceguy, and started making plans on how to spend that money. We decided it would be best to wait until I could get home, so I could review the budget.

$50 to savings, and catching up EVERY single bill, rent will still be late, but not by much, and we still had over $200 left. Gas in the truck, some various necessities from Walmart and Joann's, and I get to go out today to get one thing just for me. I have known for months that all we needed was ONE extra paycheck. Just ONE. Then we finally get it!

So very very happy!

The mood in the apartment was lighthearted and stress-free last night. I cannot even begin to explain the difference.

Yep, so that's my good news!
